Free Credit Report Review
|
|
|
You’ve
seen the TV commercials about
Free Credit
Report for
credit
monitoring.
Free
Credit Report gives you a free Experian
credit report and a free 7-day trial
membership in the Triple Advantage Credit
Monitoring program. This program monitors
all three of your credit reports with
Experian, TransUnion and Equifax for signs
of fraud to notify you about. You have
unlimited access to your Experian credit
report and credit score with the Free
Credit Report package.
As a
member of the Free Credit Report program
you are also covered for up to $50,000
reimbursement for stolen funds, private
investigators, loss of wages or other
miscellaneous costs incurred as a victim of
identity theft. You have access to calling
a tool-free consumer fraud resolution
center that never closes. Experian credit
scores are the ones most commonly used to
obtain mortgages. You will be able to check
your three numbers anytime you need to when
enrolled in the Free Credit Report
program.

Actual Customer Feedback:
"Love the commercials, but not the
product … They aren’t
free."

If you are trying to get a free credit
report, this is not the website you go to
for your annual free report. Be aware that
the FTC explicitly states to stay away from
any credit report website with the word
free in their address or name because there
are fees attached to using the service.
There is no good feedback offered anywhere
online outside of Experian’s own corporate
wording. FreeCreditReport.com has been
featured with much bad press on MSNBC
programming. Make sure you read all
disclaimers, and their terms and conditions
before getting your free credit report
here. Canceling is not quick or free of
frustration.
